Invoice Watchdog
Help
Here is how to get your invoices to Invoice Watchdog, what to expect each week, and how to reach us.
Sending us invoices
- Forward invoice emails to your restaurant's forwarding address. You will find it in your welcome email, with steps for setting up automatic forwarding.
- For paper invoices, open your upload link on the kitchen phone and take a photo. You can add the link to the home screen. Anyone with the link can upload invoices, so keep it to your team.
- By email we accept PDF files, photos (JPEG, PNG, HEIC or WebP) and CSV files. CSV files work only from suppliers we have set up for them. The upload link takes PDF files and photos.
- If a photo is too blurry or cut off to read, we will email you and ask for a clearer one.
- Mail from a sender we do not know yet waits until someone on our team checks it, so it may show up a little later.
Your weekly report
- Every Monday morning, your local time, we email you a short report of prices that went up or changed last week, with the invoice lines behind each one.
- During the pilot, a person on our team checks each report before it is sent.
- For each item you can tap Dispute, Accept or Dismiss.
- If you dispute a price, we write a message for you to send to your supplier from your own email. We never contact your suppliers for you.
- When a credit for a disputed price shows up on a later invoice, we suggest closing the dispute. If no credit comes, your weekly report reminds you.
Fixing a mistake
- If we read a line wrong, you can fix it on that invoice's page.
Signing in
- Enter your email on the sign-in page and we will email you a link. The link works for one hour, and there is no password.
